It was funny observing people are judging each other despite the fact that they all did something morally wrong and bad or almost thought about doing things that's not acceptable in today social norm. I noticed that whoever has the strongest opinion and strongest emotions fixating to certain things make the person looks bitch and that's what Karen are. Great casting, great acting of Zendaya and Robert Pattinson.

What a disturbing and unsettling movie. First off, I had NO idea this movie would revolve around gun violence and school shootings. It’s a big surprise, and I’m not sure if it’s a welcome one. It kinda felt like this film wanted us to empathize with school shooters? That aspect of the film I really didn’t like and I felt like they should’ve wrapped up the gun violence message in a more conclusive way instead of leaving it to the audience’s opinion. Having that debate about if violent urges should be normalized in your childhood is really unnecessary and just gives a platform to mentally ill people to justify their mindset. Gun violence and school shootings are wrong, and there is no excuse for why you would do such a horrific thing, even if you are bullied. Now onto the rest. From my understanding, this film is about trust in your partner. Having something you’re ashamed about or embarrassed, and not telling your partner for a better self image. Having this fake persona and suppressing your true self in a relationship is unhealthy and not sustainable. Although Emma’s secret is about the school shooting stuff, it could really be interchangeable with any insecurity or issue you have with yourself, and the core message will remain the same. The ending was cute and (to me) symbolizes Emma and Charlie meeting their true selves for the first time. So in terms of the story, I liked the “trust in relationships” message but not so much the “school shooting gun violence” message. The editing was erratic, very chaotic changing from scene to inserts sporadically and at times randomly. Sometimes this worked and led to some uneasiness or abstract feelings, Other times, it felt disjointed and awkward. The cinematography was ok, nothing crazy or groundbreaking. The color and set design was good. Very sparse and subtle music, I don’t even really remember a particular part of the music. Overall, I value the message they were trying to convey with relationships and how to build meaningful true connections, but god this film really leaned on romanticizing and empathizing with school shooters while also leaving the audience feeling like shit. From what this movie tells me, it says that some people are innately apathetic and vengeful and that knowing someone truly and completely can be really great or really awful for your relationship. 7/10

Vu avec Liora au cinoche. L’ambiance est un peu angoissante et assez improbable. Le film met globalement plutôt mal à l’aise. Par contre lacting est ouf. Pas forcément envie de le revoir une deuxième fois

I flipping HATE Racheal! She deserves every bad thing that happens to her! Yikes! On a lighter note, a very fun, dramatic (no pun intended) and interesting movie. I was genuinely concerned it was propaganda but it’s coolio.
